Just for the record, Obama quit too

promised to Illinois voters to serve 6 years as their Senator if elected...he quit with something like over 2 years left on his term...Palin quitting with less time left on her term....and no its not like getting a promotion at same company...promising to represent a state as its senator very different job than running the country.
